Take The Zero Seconds Pledge
Harrison's Hope is on a mission to keep children safe in and around cars. The Zero Seconds Pledge provides safety tips that children and adults can pledge to follow in order to prevent tragedies involving kids and cars. We encourage everyone to take the Zero Seconds Pledge.
Child/Student Pledge
I hereby take the Zero Seconds Pledge to:
SAFETY
- never play in or around a car, even if it is parked in the garage or driveway.
COURAGE

tell anyone that believes it is OK to leave me alone in a car that it is unsafe and I do not want to be left alone.
Adult/Caregiver Pledge
I hereby take the Zero Seconds Pledge to:
SECURITY
- never leave a child in or around a car ... not even for a second!
EDUCATION
- teach children about the dangers of kids being alone in and around cars.
- Instruct children to always hold the hand of an adult when walking in a parking lot.
ASSURANCE
- always make sure that all child passengers have left the car after it is parked.
PROTECTION
- always hold hands with younger passengers when walking in a parking lot.
